I Mitomani Beat was born in Rome in the spring of 2010 inspired by the classic Italian Beat bands from the 60’s. The use of original 60’s instruments, carefully attention to the sound and their characteristic 60’s look create a typical “sixties” feel and brings the audience of their shows to a similar feel and state of mind. I Mitomani Beat continue the tradition of the Beat Italiano, singing in Italian, starting from where the Avvoltoi (80’s) and Sciacalli (90's) stopped.
Up to now the band has released 3 demos collecting Italian 60’s covers as well as some unreleased Italian version of songs such as “All Day And All Of The Night”, “Tainted Love” and “Why Do I Cry” .
“Fuori Dal Tempo,” an album of 8 original songs plus 3 covers will be out in March 2014 and is a co-production of Area Pirata, Green Cookie & I Mitomani Beat.
The band has played over 40 gigs, having and giving fun all around.
The members are: Eve La Blonde (vocals, guitar & harmonica), Marco Ianna (guitar & vocals), Il Maestro (organ & backing vocals), Marco Stazi (bass) and Panta (drums & backing vocals).
